Front Row
Tietoa bändistä
Front Row was born with drumsticks in hand. After growing up with years of timeless punk, rock, hip-hop, and classic rock influences, Front Row’s musical river will always run deep. Some of his early musical projects include Momma Stud (Virgin Records) and Lili Hayden (Atlantic Records).
Front Row started his first electronic trip-hop project: Guadaloop. Here he acted as writer, producer, and drummer. Guadaloop landed tours and opening slots with: Fionna Apple, Sneaker Pimps, James Brown, Morcheeba, among others. In early 1999, Front Row began writing and recording for his new eclectic project called The Peak Show. Alongside writing partner, Holland Greco, Front Row watched as his pristine creation drew a diverse following, centered in the LA underground. The Peak Show eventually signed with Atlantic Records and later found success in the songs: “Stupid Little Fellow” (Grind and Scary Movie 3 TV trailer), “Flow” (CSI), “O’Day” (CSI: Miami), “Stolen Kisses” (Cinderella Story) among other radio, videogame, and television appearances. Front Row has worked alongside Producer, Bernie Worrell (Parliament Funkadelic) and is currently working as co-producer with Mario Caldatto Jr. (Beastie Boys). Front Row’s first solo release, “Past Tense” (Nine 12 Records), is a barrage of social, political, and personal lyrics and features ten guest vocalists from around California’s Venice Beach hood. This album is an honest and unafraid look into the personal life of this Chicano-American boy. The full-length album will be available on Nine 12 Records in early 2005.
