  After sharing billings with top acts Gomez and the Black Crowes and touring with Jerry Cantrell (Alice in Chains) and the Goo Goo Dolls, ex-Flight 16 singer Dave Sears teamed up with drummer Andy Kirby, formerly of the band Tantric, and ex-Foxtail bass player Chris Kelly. The three became The Existence.
  
  High on retro rock and psychedelia, The Existence weave through shades of Zeppelin, The Doors and more modern acts like PJ Harvey and Muse. Described by a London venue as "Black Rebel Motorcycle Club meets Ravi Shanka era Beatles," they have started to create waves throughout the industry.
  
  The Existence have performed their music in numerous South London venues. Most recently, they disappeared into the recording studio to create their kaleidoscopic, mind-expanding EP.
